Following the success of our second Pendleside Does Strictly event, which raised £88,381.83 in aid of Pendleside, we are so pleased to announce that it will be back for it's third year on Friday 14th November 2025 at Impact Conferencing, Burnley.

The much anticipated tickets will go on sale on Friday 4th July, 10am. Each ticket is £50.00 and includes a two course meal from Simply Classic along with a full night of entertainment.

Event

The evening will follow the same format as the popular BBC One program ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and see 10 dancers learn two dances to perform on the night. A panel of judges will score each dance, before a dance off between the top two couples which will decide the overall winner. 

As well as being entertained by the dancers, attendees will enjoy a two course meal, entertainment from Burnley College Dance, followed by dancing until late. Professional dancers from Sanderson Dance are providing our 'celeb' dancers training and expertise!

   Diana DoGood - Comedy Drag Artist

Diana DoGood is Burnley's iconic Drag performer! A comedy queen and the ulitmate people's princess. Diana is paired with Professional Dancer Carol who is now entering her third year of taking part in Pendleside Does Strictly...will they lift the glitterball trophy this year....?

Sophie Newman - Hospice Inpatient Unit Sister     

Sophie is one of our fabulous and much loved Inpatient Unit Sister's. Sophie will be parting ways with her famous crocs on inpatients and will soon be donning a pair of dancing shoes! She is paired with Professional dancer Max, who like Carol is entering his third year veteran.

  Eve Taylor - Deputy Headteacher at Holly Grove Primary School

Eve will be switching up the classroom for the dance studio! She is paired with Professional dancer Henry! We already know this duo will be full of sparkle!

Gary Scully - Owner, GS Construction     

Gary won't need to purchase a pair of dancing shoes...he'll simply pull a pair out of his wardrobe! This man loves to dance and doesn't Burnley know it! Gary is paired with Professional dancer Yasmin...who will be swinging who around the dance floor?

   Glenn Stock - Director of Unique Clean Hire & Facilities Ltd & Coalitions Facilities Ltd

Glenn started taking dance lessons with his daughter earlier this year at Sandersons...­will the advantage work in his favour? Glenn is paired with Professional dancer Claire....also returning for her third year to support Pendleside Does Strictly

Joe O'Brien - PE Teacher, Padiham Green Primary School 

Joe showed off his dancing feet on launch night...by walking around barefoot! The group haven't let him forget it, and we're starting to see Joe's personality really shine.....have we got a darkhorse in the group? Joe is paired with Professional dancer 'Little Jess'. Jess went on to win last year's event with partner Liam...no pressure Joe!

   Jon Cant - Head of Business Development at Root Fifty-Two

Jon isn't one to shy away from compering on stage, but this time he will be under the spot light in a different way. Jon is pair with Professional dancer Emily! Emily is another of Sanderson's dancers who can't get enough and is returning to support the event for her third year!

Lee Clough - Firefighter, based at Darwen Fire Station    

Lee called ahead of launch to see if he should bring his uniform...there was no stopping him! Lee is paired with Professional dancer 'Big Jess' and the pair have hit it off like a house on fire!

  Lisa Sourbutts - Managing Director, Cube HR

Lisa is usually juggling policies and people as Managing Director of Cube HR. She’ll be stepping away from her role for one night only and stepping straight into the spotlight onstage. Lisa is paired with newcomer Lucy! Welcome Lucy!

Shelly Heap - Customs Data Supervisor at EFS Global   

Shelly can usually be found at Lowerhouse Cricket Club, a self professed cricket wife and mum, the locals have already been spinning her around on the sidelines! Shelly is paired with newcomer Aeron! We can't wait to welcome you!
