Paws in the Park 2017

Join our family friendly event 'Paws in the Park' on Sunday 1st October 2017 where hundreds of dogs and their families will walk a 2.5 mile circular route starting and finishing in Barrowford Park to raise vital funds for Pendleside Hospice.

The event is open to everyone, but participating dogs must be registered and accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 years for the duration of the event (accompanying walkers take part free of charge).

On the day you can set of on our fully marshalled 2.5 mile route between 11am and 12 noon with registration opening at 11am in our Hospice marquee on the grass in front of the duck pond.

The walk should take between 1 - 1.5 hours to complete depending on your pace. Each dog will receive a doggy bandana and a well earned goody bag and certificate!  Before and after the walk there will be dog agility shows and various stalls.

Register your pooch now for only £6! Please note a maximum of two dogs per walker is permitted. Once registered you will receive a sponsor pack. Information about the day and how to collect your doggy bandana in pack.

£2.50 of your registration fee will be given to Pendle Dogs In Need. The remaining £3.50 only covers the cost of putting on the event.

Paw’s in the Park is organised by Pendleside Hospice in conjunction with Pendle Dogs In Need to raise awareness of both charities and much needed funds for Pendleside Hospice. The registration fee only covers the cost of putting on the event and the administration of your dogs place so we need you to raise as much sponsorship as possible to help support Pendleside's work in your community.

If you would like to volunteer at the event or help marshal the route, please get in touch with Pendleside Hospice Fundraising Department on 01282 440120.
