Browsholme Hall has been the ancestral home of the Parkers, Bowbearers of the Forest of Bowland, since Tudor times.
Christmas has been celebrated there for over 500 years; it is truly a hidden jewel in the County Palatine of Lancashire.
Visitors will see Christmas trees, garlands, holly and of course ivy, that encapsulate the spirit if the festive season, complemented by the warmth of candlelight and open fires.
The guided tours, (about 1 hour) are tailored for all ages and interests, and will captivate all those who enjoy the rich heritage that this unique and ancient Lancastrian home has to offer. Visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy homemade refreshments in the tea room within the beautifully restored 18th century Tithe Barn, and browse the "pop up" shop of artisan gifts.
