Elaine Waine's sell out 6th Charity Ball which was themed Venetian Masquerade and held at the Fence Gate in November has raised £8,577. The money has been split equally between two charities close to her heart, Pendleside Hospice and the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
The event couldn't have taken place without kindly being sponsored by Broden Lloyd Estate Agents where Elaine works as an Independant Property Consultant and local businesses who kindly donate various item to be auctioned.
On arrival guests, who were all family and friends, were treated to champagne & pianist Robert McLaughlin. Trawden string quartet then played through dinner and after the auction the Casino opened, followed by dancing!
Elaine said "I enjoy organising the events that raise superb monies but I could not do this without the kindness and generosity of family, friends and the support of local companies, all of whom will be thanked individually"
