Fundraising in memory of Mick Ennis continues with another £578.30 being raised for Pendleside Hospice

The 3rd annual Mick Ennis Memorial Trophy took place on Sunday 19th September at Belvedere FC and raised a fantastic amount of £578.30. The score of the game was St Teds Old Boys 4-1 The Vintage Clarets.

Mick passed away at Pendleside Hospice in December 2014 and the annual event is organised by Mick's former pupils. To date the group have raised £20,393.34 in aid of Pendleside.

Event organiser Nick Palich said,

"Many former pupils come together each year to help organise this event.  As a collective we want to keep the memory of Mick going. This event is something we would like to continue for many years to come and appreciate all the support we get'.

Former pupil and current PE Teacher and Head of Year 9 John Kelly said,

“Mick was a teacher who used to make everyone feel special and school enjoyable. There will never be another Mick he was amazing!"
