Kaitlyn Mathews (12) and Chloe Cooper (11) have raised a wonderful £400.00 for Pendleside Hospice by selling homemade key rings. The girls decided to start making the key rings during the first lockdown in August last year and have been making and selling them ever since. They came to the Hospice on Monday for a cheque presentation and to hand the cash over to Pendleside. The girls are keen to continue fundraising and would like to raise lots more money for the Hospice and said 'this is only the beginning'. They are thinking about what they would like to do next to raise money and mentioned perhaps doing a sponsored cycle. They are keen to raise funds for our Family Support Center so that children who are being supported through counselling can directly benefit from what they are doing.
