Pendle Pub Walk 2024

Register

Join us for 15th annual Pendle Pub Walk, kindly sponsored by Alderson and Horan Funeral Services, around the stunning Pendle countryside using its finest hostelries as way-points. The walk is organised by Pendleside Hospice and Burnley Pendleside Rotary Club to raise money for Pendleside, with £5 of each registration fee going to other local charities who are supported by the Rotary Club.

This year it is expected that over 2,000 walkers will take part in the 13-mile walk (approx), which is made up of a combination of countryside and road-walking. The walk is a circular route through some of Pendle’s most scenic countryside. Along the route there will be a number of official venues for you to have a rest, purchase refreshments and enjoy live entertainment. This year’s official venues will be confirmed in the coming months… follow the 'Pendle Pub Walk' Facebook page for the most up to date information.

All walkers must ‘check-in’ at one of the two designated check-in points on the day between 10am – 12 noon- Thatch and Thistle (Barrowford) or Pendle Inn (Barley). You can start your walk at any point along the route, but make sure to pass through a check-in point during the times stated. The event will officially end at 8pm.

Registration

Gather your walking buddies and take advantage of the £20.00 early bird offer. From 2nd of April adult registration fee will increase to £25.00. Children- £12.00 (no early bird offer). Registrations will close on Wednesday 3rd July at 10am. Pre-event registration will close on Wednesday 3rd July at 10am!

Registration includes an official Pendle Pub Walk t-shirt, fundraising pack, £5 donation to other local Rotary Club supported charities and covers other costs associated with organising an event such as this. Pendleside relies heavily on walkers raising sponsorship or making a donation at the point of registering in lieu of raising sponsorship.

Please note that on the day registrations will increase to £60.00 for adults as it is assumed walkers will not be collecting sponsorship money, therefore will include a donation. T-shirts will be very limited on the day, so we strongly suggest you register in advance to avoid disappointment.

YOU WILL RECIEVE THE T-SHIRT SIZE YOU'VE ORDERED AT COLLECTION- NO SWAPPING! IF YOU'RE UNSURE, WE SUGGEST SIZING UP TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.  T-SHIRTS ARE UNISEX.
