Pendleside survivorship and support groups
Positive health and well-being service
Our positive health and well-being service is for people recently diagnosed with cancer, or who are currently in remission. It is hosted by the day services team and has survivorship and wellbeing as its primary focus. You can select sessions from an interactive programme of events which will be held regularly throughout the week. These sessions may be delivered by Hospice staff or external specialist services, and will be focused on emotional and physical wellbeing. Outpatient appointments can be accessed for complementary therapies and psychological support.

An individual programme of support can be agreed and planned by coming along to our "Drop in" session held every Wednesday 12 - 3.30pm.
The day services team will be happy to answer any queries - telephone 01282 440110.
Join us for a cup of tea and a chat at our carers' support meetings. These are held monthly in the day services unit at Pendleside 4pm - 6pm.
The Lunch Club is an opportunity for bereaved people to meet new friends, socialise, eat and have some light relief from the struggle that is grieving.
Please note that on some trips places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. Pre-payment is required to make the logistics of organising the events easier and to avoid any costs to the Hospice.
Meetings and venues for 2017 can be found by checking the Service Users events link on the homepage.
