Christmas Drive Thru Movie & Christmas Market

 
On Saturday 1st December 2018 Pendleside are hosting a Christmas Drive Thru Movie Day and Christmas Market at Nelson and Colne College, on Scotland Road in Nelson just off junction 13 of the M65. 
 
Two movies will be shown: Home Alone (PG) at 3pm and Elf (PG) at 7pm. Vehicles will be given access to the venue 90 minutes before their movie starts, where there will be various market stalls for you to peruse including a gin bar, curry hut, face painting, gifts, Santa's Grotto and much more!

If you wish to watch both movies you will need to purchase a ticket for each (Please note that tickets are non-refundable).

The event will be fully marshalled and you will be directed to your parking spot on a first come first served basis. No vehicles will be permitted before the time indicated on your ticket - the only exception to this will be if you have bought tickets for both movies. No parking spaces will be reserved. Only domestic vehicles will be permitted. Commercial vans, minibuses or other large vehicles, such as recreational vehicles (RVs), will not be permitted on site. Large cars (such as SUVs, 4X4, people carriers and any other vehicles as large) will be placed towards the back of the site as to avoid obstruction for other cars. Access is not guaranteed for any vehicles which arrive after the movie(s) has started.

Please read the full terms and conditions below:

1. All Pendleside Hospice events are organised to raise much needed funds for patient care.

2. Everyone wanting to attend the event must purchase their ticket by the official methods and pay the appropriate fee.  Only those  people who have bought a ticket by the official methods will be allowed to attend. Only successful payments made will receive ticket(s). When an order is made you will receive an order confirmation.

3. One ticket allows access for one showing for one vehicle. If you wish to attend both films you will need to purchase two tickets. Please note that tickets are non-refundable.

4. Only domestic vehicles will be permitted. Commercial vans, minibuses or other large vehicles, such as recreational vehicles (RVs), will not be permitted on site. Large cars (such as SUVs, 4X4, people carriers and any other vehicles as large) will be placed towards the back of the site as to avoid obstruction for other cars.

5. Marshalls have the right to refuse entry to any vehicles which don’t meet these requirements.

8. Vehicles will only be permitted access off site in emergency circumstances. In the case of an emergency please alert a marshall and do not attempt to move your vehicle without instructions.

9. All attendees are expected to follow the full instructions from marshalls when in vehicles and on foot. On the day of the event you must adhere to any instructions given to you by Pendleside Hospice staff, marshalls, volunteers or their representatives and where there is a designated route it is your responsibility to ensure you stick to it.

10. Any person or persons who are disturbing any other customers may be asked to leave the site.

11. Customers may only leave their vehicles unattended if the engines are turned off.

12. Only people in vehicles with a ticket are permitted to attend the movies.

13. Please be aware that both films showing are rated PG.

14. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

15. Adult participants are responsible for their own safety and security whilst taking part in the event and for those participants in their care.

16. Pendleside Hospice does not accept any responsibility or liability for any injury or loss that participants may experience.

17. Pendleside Hospice and Pendleside Hospice staff, marshalls, volunteers or representatives will not be liable or held responsible for any vehicles of any kind that are damaged or have goods or items taken or stolen from them at the event.

18. Pendleside Hospice and Pendleside Hospice staff, marshalls, volunteers or representatives will not be liable or held responsible for any vehicle collisions which may occur or injuries caused to any individual or person as a result of a collision.

19. Pendleside Hospice has the right to cancel the event at any time. In these unlikely circumstances, you will be informed immediately and a full refund will be given.

20. Refunds will not be given in the event of a missed screening due to personal circumstances.

21. At the time of receiving your ticket(s) customers should check that the ticket(s) are correct as the ticket(s) cannot be later exchanged in the event of an error.

22. No customer is allowed to bring any illegal substances or weapons onto the premises. Anyone found in such possession of items will be refused entry and asked to leave the premises immediately, without a refund. Pendleside Hospice has the right to inform the authorities.

23. By buying a ticket you are agreeing that any photography taken by Pendleside Hospice authorised personnel may be used by Pendleside Hospice for publicity purposes in printed, social, online and broadcast media.

24. Tickets can only be purchased through the Pendleside Hospice website – www.­pendleside.­org.­uk and will be sold on a first come first served basis as there is a limited number available for each showing.
