Lomeshaye Village Day Nursery Charity Ball raises £8,000 in aid of Pendleside Hospice

Lomeshaye Village Day Nursery in Nelson held a Charity Ball on Saturday 10th June at The Fence Gate in aid of Pendleside Hospice and raised a fantastic £8,000!

Almost 200 people attended the evening and enjoyed a champagne reception, 4 course meal, raffle and auction and were entertained by a magician and singer Adam Brown.

Nursery Proprietor Louise Wilkinson said,

“We had such a great evening and would like to thank everyone who came and all the local businesses who donated something helping us raise this amount of money”.

Sammi Graham, Hospice Fundraiser said,

“We can’t thank Louise and her staff at Lomeshaye Village Day Nursery enough for their continued fundraising efforts. They have held several balls, Christmas Fairs and sponsored hospice events over the last few years raising thousands of pounds for Pendleside. We are very fortunate to have their support”.
