Great Wall Of China Discovery Trek 2020
We're trekking the GREAT WALL OF CHINA DISCOVERY TREK between 17th-25th September 2020.

Trek 35km along one of the Seven Wonders of the World, making memories and friends that will stay with you for a lifetime! This trek is the ideal challenge for those with a passion for history and a sense of adventure and gives trekkers the opportunity to discover China's hidden charms, astounding cultural past, traditions and mythology well off the tourist trail.
Day 1: Depart Manchester for Beijing... Day 2: Arrive in Beijing... Day 3: Huangyaguan-Qiankaijian Village (5-7 hours trekking)... Day 4: Qiankaijian Village-Jinshanling (4-5 hours trekking)... Day 5: Guebikou-Jinshanling (5-7 hours trekking)... Day 6: Jinshanling-Mutianyu (3-5 hours trekking)... Day 7: Mutianyu-Beijing (3-4 hours trekking)... Day 8: Beijing (free day)... Day 9:Depart Beijing for Manchester.
The registration fee for this event is £349pp and then you can choose to self fund your trip (£1,645) or raise a minimum sponsorship amount (£2,800), which covers the cost of your trek as well as supporting Pendleside Hospice.
Please don’t be ‘put off’ by the fundraising aspect of the trek... The whole fundraising team at Pendleside Hospice will be on hand to support you from start to finish! We can advise and offer support and fundraising sundries such as buckets, balloons, banners, bespoke raffle/event tickets, bespoke posters/leaflets and promotion in the local press, on our website and on all social media channels. Also, trekkers will be invited into the Hospice to meet each other and tour our facilities - we have some lovely therapy rooms and a gym which we like to show off and meeting everyone will give you a chance to trade fundraising ideas!
