We would like to invite you to take part in the
Pendleside’s Corporate MEGA Raiseathon.

Due to the Covid Pandemic we cancelled lots of events last year including our well established Corporate MEGA Raiseathon which in 2019 our teams raised an outstanding £146,328. !!  This year as we couldn’t and still can’t predict what we will and will not be able to schedule events wise we have had to use our best judgement.  This has lead to us deciding to shortened campaign in the Summer when we hope there will be an easing of restrictions.

The concept of Corporate MEGA Raiseathon is simple; we ask your team to raise as much money as you can from 1st to  30th  June 2021.   There are lots of ways you can do this and we really don’t mind what you do as long as it’s ethical and legal!  Suggestions include dress down days, bake sales, raffles etc, or you could enter individuals or a team into one of our organised events which are here on our events pages on our website.

All sponsor money raised by your teams in June is credited to your overall fundraising amount.  Every employee that joins our Pendleside Lottery during the qualifying period will also be credited to your fundraising amount. You can donate items to our Furniture Shop and that will be added to your total too! 

To celebrate the end of the challenge we will be holding an online awards event where the winners in the various categories will be presented with their well-earned certificates.

We give great support to participating companies by giving them fundraising packs to include items such as pull up banners, t-shirts and hospice merchandise.  We also provide ongoing support throughout the challenge and our leader board, published every week encourages the competition element between participating businesses.  We will also be holding regular zoom breakfast meetings throughout the fundraising period to keep you all informed of what’s happening with Corporate MEGA Raiseathon and for you to meet and network with the other businesses to find out their plans too.

As well as raising much needed funds for Pendleside Hospice, Corporate MEGA Raiseathon has some great benefits for your organisation too such as team building, inter­dep­ar­tmental working, publicity and positive PR and commitment to your CSR policy.  You can also be assured that the money you raise will be helping people living and working in our community who need our help and support following the devastating diagnosis of a life limiting illness.
