Remember a loved one, support Pendleside Hospice

Celebrate the memories of your loved ones by donating to this special campaign.

From the switch-on services in December until early January, lights shone out from the Hospice building and a beautiful Christmas tree at Hospice reception; each one represented the memories we have of loved ones.Everyone remembered are entered into a leather-bound Book of Remembrance, which is kept on display in the hospice reception throughout the year.

We are once again grateful to Alderson & Horan Funeral Services for the donation of the Christmas tree.

A book of remembrance will be produced containing your name and the names of your loved ones. Special Light up a Life cards and lapel badges or tree decorations are also available as keepsakes.

The Hospice provides a full range of care services free of charge to people living in Burnley and Pendle with life-limiting illnesses, and support to their families and carers.

The Hospice’s facilities include a 10-bed inpatient unit, a day therapy unit, a 24-hour hospice at home service and a family support service.

The Hospice has annual running costs of over £3.2 million and we rely on public support for the majority of this.
