Friends of Pendleside Volunteers

Would you like to belong to something special, make new friends,
be part of a team and have fun?

We are aware that many people would like to help the Hospice but feel unable to join one of our established fundraising groups due to other time commitments.  In order that these people are still able to make a contribution to Hospice Fundraising efforts we have developed a group called the Friends of Pendleside Hospice.

The Friends of Pendleside are a group of people who are able to help out on an ad hoc basis, as and when needed.  Some people are only able to help out once or twice a year, whilst others are available more frequently.

Some of the events will be supermarket collections, festivals, bag packing at Marks & Spencer, Midnight Walk, Light up a Life etc. We usually have two volunteers covering a 2 hour slot for each event. We stress that the Friends of Pendleside volunteers are not under any pressure to help out and that they only need to help with events or tasks that they are interested in.
