Friends of Pendleside

Have you got a few hours here or there to spare? 

Would you like to help out at our events, supermarket collections etc. ?

We have between 75 - 80 Friends of Pendleside who help out at our events selling raffle tickets, hospice merchandise or holding a collection.

Each Friend of Pendleside chooses when and where they would prefer to help, may it be a couple of hours to socialise and meet friends or to help out in your community.

If you can spare a few hours of your time that suits you, then contact the Hospice Fundraising Team to join The Friends of Pendleside. Help the Hospice with collections, running stalls at events, supermarket collections and general fundraising.

THE FOLLOWING DATES HAVE BEEN ARRANGED FOR THE NEXT VOLUNTEER SURGERY. 
THE SURGERIES ARE DESIGNED TO ENABLE EXISTING VOLUNTEERS TIME TO CHAT ABOUT ISSUES THAY HAVE…. OR TO RAISE SUGGESTIONS… OR ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO TALK ABOUT CONCERNING VOLUNTEERING AT PENDLESIDE HOSPICE

THESE SESSIONS WILL ALSO BE FOR PROSPECTIVE VOLUNTEERS SO THAT THEY CAN COME INTO THE HOSPICE AND MEET US

THE SESSIONS WILL INITIALLY BE ON A ‘DROP-IN’ BASIS, BUT SHOULD YOU NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, PLEASE CONTACT CHRISTINE

  * Light up a Life - Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th December - Pendleside Hospice
  * Monday 17th to Monday 24th December - M&S bag packing - Burnley
