Vacancies at Pendleside.

 Quality and Development Co-ordinator

37.5 hours – Monday to Friday 
Salary £29,057 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a committed healthcare professional to join our multi-disciplinary team.  This is an exciting new role and provides a fantastic opportunity to influence and further improve on the holistic palliative care provided at Pendleside.

The successful applicant will actively support the Hospice management team to sustain and further develop governance and quality initiatives in all Hospice departments.  This will involve leading and developing clinical and general audit; maintenance, development and cascade training of policies and procedures and the responsibility for health and safety.

A sound clinical background and four years post registration experience is essential, as is the ability to work proactively with clinical and non-clinical staff and volunteers.  Experience in palliative care is desirable but not essential.

Clinical Secretary


17.5 hrs per week Monday to Friday
Salary £7,609 per annum

We are also looking to recruit an experienced Clinical Secretary to assist with all aspects of highly confidential clerical work associated with patient care within the clinical environment in the Hospice.
 
You will have a high standard of education and good computer skills are essential.  ECDL Qualification preferred.

 Volunteers Needed!

Volunteers are always needed in most areas of the Hospice.  The areas where there are vacancies at the moment are:

Shops - Volunteers needed for our Hospice Shops, especially the Nelson Shop on Scotland Road.
If you could spare a morning or afternoon per week.

Fundraising - help in the fundraising office and at fundraising events

             Drivers - required to help take day therapy patients to and from home in the mornings and afternoons
