Lymphoedema Clinic The clinic aims to improve the quality of life of patients who develop lymphoedema (chronic swelling) as a result of their palliative disease.
It is part of an East Lancashire wide service and we offer appointments locally at the hospice or in the patient’s home depending on need.
The clinic is run by 2 Macmillan Physiotherapists, and we offer a variety of treatments including: Skin care

Simple Lymphatic Drainage Massage (SLD) For more complicated Lymphoedema we liase with our colleagues who are based at East Lancs Hospice, but treatment can often be arranged locally at Pendleside Hospice.
